I'm really confused, I'm watching one of these Music television channels, and in the corner there is a little bald man doing sign language along to Tina Turner.
If you are deaf what would it really matter what the lyrics of a song are?

Seeing as I have no one else to voice this question to at 3am, I thought I'd see what insights you guys have.

Btw he's doing it to Madonna now, and his dancing is appalling.

Because the most important part of music with lyrics are the lyrics (especially considering with pop bands/artists), the most often don't even write the actual music. The music is generally just there to reiterate, and help communicate the feeling.
