This is my first post in General, but I felt I had to make some small comment on the tragedy that unfolded yesterday. Though it happened some five hundred miles from me, I was no less shocked by the cowardly attack on our nation and way of life - Now is a time irrespective of nationality; whether English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish to band together under the flag, the Union Jack of Great Britain and fight to right this atrocity.
We’re not alone in this - The Madrid bombings in Europe, and of course the terror attacks on the United States these years passed. Innocents lost in these events and just as in the London tragedy, remembered for their terrible loss.
We’ve been struck on our own soil, at our most vulnerable, but we will not lose strength of reason to find those that have harmed us and bring them to justice. We are not alone in our battle against extremism, and we will prevail.
Rest in peace, all those lost - If anyone wishes to contribute to this thread, feel free.
