It seems my eldest nephew has had a note written home to his mother(my sister) from camp. Apparently, he began a prank war at the camp that escalated to chaotic levels. It seems it all began with him dusting other kids' underwear with itching powder while they slept. The responses and reprisals of this and other pranks have led to: food fights, mud fights, snakes in shower stalls and bunks, the supergluing of one kid's footlocker shut(my nephew did that. :) ) and sneakers filled with spray cheese.

Well, kids were scolded, and notes home were sent for several of these troublemakers. Including my nephew. I just found out when my sister called me and blamed me for the entire incident. SImply because my nephew slept over for the week proir to camp. Oh, and I provided the itching powder and superglue to him before he went to camp. :p

I also provided silly string, fart powder, pepper candy, black face soap and a handful of lightsticks.

I can't wait to hear how the rest of that stuff worked out. :)

...He'll make a good General of the U.S. military one day.

Our enemies will fear itching powder in their underwear and will refuse to wear them. Resulting in really uncomfortable troop movements, especially with those rough pants they wear.

Yeah, and my only cool uncle was a psycho who used to point guns at us kids.

Good job teaching your nephew the art of pranksmanship.

I'd say that too, but seeing as how my uncle has/had (?) a shot at being India's Prime Minister...and has his own helicopter (heh, Petercopter!)...;)

Nice one Goof! :D And it's not a proper camp if someone (preferably one of the leaders) doesn't go in the lake.

Ah, the Uncle's prerogative...corrupting the nieces and nephews. Yeah, my brothers are enjoying that too.

Yeah, why blame a tv show when you have a legitimate target of blame -_-

Remember. My sister grew up with me. She knows exactly who to blame when things get chaotic. :)

My brother and his wife are expecting their first born next month. Got anymore good Uncle-ing tips? :D

(And I must ask my own Uncle Carleton for some. He's still a pretty cool uncle at nearly 70. ;))

Uncles usually fall into one or more stereotypical roles. There is the molester uncle; Don't be him. The drunken lout uncle; amusing, but annoying. The miserable relationship-cursed uncle; who the heel would WANT to be him?!? And then there's the corrupting influence uncle. The one that the kids love and the parents(your simbling and his/her mate) wish would grow up.

That's me. :) I recommend it.

Remember. My sister grew up with me. She knows exactly who to blame when things get chaotic. :)That's rather a shame, because I engineered this entire incident myself. It was lots of fun. Especially the part where I put crickets and ants in the underwear. :)

ROFL! Great job, camp should be fun. How long will it be before your sister talks to you again? I'll bet you don't see your nephew again until he is 21 or 30 years old, your sister won't allow it. :D
