I knew I was awake, but I FELT like I was asleep. It was probably because it was such an unbelievable day anyway.

i get that too sometimes. it's odd. yet strangely refreshing.

do you get the one where you've been watching a long movie, or reading graphic novels or something similar, and then when you go and do something else it feels like you're in a movie? or in a comic strip, and you're nearing the end of the panel?

It was a perfectly ordinary situation (I was with family visiting a wedding or a funeral, I forget which), but everything felt so surreal, so strange.

That was years ago. I don't think it's happened since.

To stay awake, I try to Jedi-grab a pen from across the table. It's never worked. Yet. But someday... ;)

Is that why my pens suddenly roll off of my desk, across the floor and against the wall???

Low blood pressure? If it persists you should get a checkup.

Either than that, stop taking drugs.

yea i had a feeling like that before, i mean i was so tired that i feel asleep and i woke up a second later and i mean a real second later and i found my self in a dark city, it was raining and i was in a alley and there was like gun shots going everywhere, but as soon as i saw that i feel asleep again and woke up. (yup crack taste better at night :) ) but that was a serious dream

Want to know what a really weid feeling is? You wake up blearily and hung over after getting drunk at a very rowdy party. Memories are hazy. You have no idea how you got out on the front lawn, why you're wearing only your underwear or why your underwear has been stuffed with about a dozen Hostess cupcakes. But you are beginning to suspect foul play... unfortunately, you're too groggy and fucked up to really register what's going on or why people are laughing at you until you notice there's writing on your chest in black magic marker. It's hard to read through the crust in your eyes and it's upside down to boot. But ignoring the odd feeling of cupcakes smashed into your crotch, you make out that it says, "Rare and elusive Blue-footed Booby." That's when you notice that your feet have been painted bright blue.

Now THAT is a day of weird feelings. :p
