This morning there was violent protest in Stirling against the G8 summit.

Burger King was completely smashed up, a symbolic act of anti-globalisation activism.

I have friends over there in the protests and haven't heard from them.

I hope your friends are ok.

I've seen similar here in Canada. I can't help thinking that if I only knew what the issues were, I'd agree with the protesters.
