It's my little brat of a sister's birthday soon; she'll be 4 *cringes in fright*, but I don't know what to get for her present, I'm sure they'll be some experts in here so please let rip!!! :D

Give her a pony. :p Give her a book or, if she is a 'brat' (I take it that a 'brat' is Engish slang for a rude or spoiled person), money. Cant go wrong with money...even with a 4 year old. ;)

Playdoh is always good and soooo cheap.
Colouring pens. Those huge sets like a giant mental rainbow.
Mobile phone. No really you can get these really great ones that beep and squawk like the real thing OR if you want to be really cheap go tothe mobile shop and ask if they've got any of the old, discontinued demo models.
The dummy ones that they put on show are just stuck in a box when they're obsolete and they give them away (if you're really nice to them). Exactly like the real thing!
hope that helps

Art stuff. Modelling clay, huge pads of newsprint, tempra paints and brushes, colored paper, blunt scisors and washable glue, immense box of crayons. You could get a ton of stuff she will have a blast with and not spend much money at all.

Be nice. She's a lovely little icky girl. Gonna drive you mad for a good few years yet.
Had four year old (now 13) and got a 14 month old girl. It gets much worse.
Boys are easy. new computer game = happy.
girls are really tough to buy for until they're about 10 then you buy crap jewelery off the market and they luv it (with little heart shaped dots on the i's)

A huge chocolate cake laced with heroin?
Nah :D

Legos/duplos are good. Trust me, she still gets another eight years use out of them before she becomes 'too cool' for them.

Hah. 4 year old sister. You think you've go problems? I've got to make a card (she's embarrased by presents) for a 15 girl. Make a card! 15 year old boys don't make and decorate cards for 15 year old girls. It's just not right. I don't know what to do.
