Living as a bachelor again for a few days. Although we have cold cuts and left overs in the house, going out almost seems easier than cleaning up when I'm done.

You could always go out and pick up some fresh bearded clam.

Tempting, but I'm still married. I would try bringing a fresh one with the wife here, as if I thought she be interested.

Use the leftovers to trick a raccoon to go inside your house. Then kill it, stuff it with the leftovers, roll it in the batter and deep-fry it.

As a side note, I'd advise you to shampoo the fur before you cook this fine furry animal. You don't know where it slept last night.

That might go on my dinner menu, as dinner will be my next big decision later on.

Too many choices.

I've eaten raccoon and I'd have to be really hungry to eat it again, if I had no other choices.

I know you're in NJ too- you want the EPA to investigate me-two hours after the chili dogs?
Jenkinson's is close-they have good chili dogs.

You're in NJ. People here are used to unusual odors!

Maybe more so in the Meadowlands, but I'm in Ocean County. The sounds might distress the neighbors.

In case you haven't eaten yet try pork roll egg and cheese on a kaiser bun.

Has anyone suggested beaver yet? It's a Canadian delicacy...once you get past the fur that is :D

I do like that with "Taylor Ham"-just a brand name of the same thing. With ketchup, salt and pepper.

I just ate left over pizza. I was too lazy to go out-its too humid again.

I love beaver. And I dont mind any fur, as long as its still attached.

Whispering Legs had suggested a bearded clam appetizer earlier.

I suppose this may not be an option for you, but I bought a ticket for a barbecue tomorrow at our cafeteria.

$12.95 and not even all-you-can-eat. It better be worth it. :)

I hope it is. I love barbecues.
