I must say I'd prefer if London got it, but I expect it will end up being Paris. With a symbol like the Eiffel Tower, which is absolutely gorgeous at night, it will be hard to beat.

Yes, but when you leave Heathrow international the first thing you see isnt a row of neon-painted shops with signs reading 'SEX SHOP!!!'.
