I just received an admission offer for undergraduate from the Hong Kong University. Well, it's supposed to be a joyful occasion - except that now I'm stuck between an offer to the London School of Economics and Political Science and the HKU offer. I'm stuck, and I don't feel good.
My exam results come later today, and that will either determine where I'm going or make my life even harder.
I don't know what to do. I just need to get this emotion out.

I can't tell you what to pick. But I would pick London if it were me. Why?
a)Because spending the summer break backpacking across Europe is great fun.
b)England has more mud.
c)Kilts. I respect kilts. ANybody manly enough to wear a kilt in English weather AND comfortable enough to wear em around other people in breezy weather is someone I admire.
Not that Hong Kong isn't without it's charms:
a) The food is much better(Ever tried English cuisine? *bleah*)
b) Little vandalizing punks get caned. :)
c) Capitalistic China. Need I say more?

No canes in Hong Kong. We've stopped using corporal punishments a long time ago... Usually the superintendant gives you a stern warning, pay a few hundred dollars, and your parents come collect you.
EDIT: That law was amended in 1975, when the death penalty was still practiced...There is no caning in Hong Kong today.
