Might I gloat that I called it? That we wouldn't be invading Iran with full forces in June '05? YES! I WAS! Way back in February when someone posted a thread about the US invading Iran in June I said it wouldn't happen, and once again, I was right!

I'd like to thank all the people who said that we'd invade Iran in June, and such similar things.

A run-up to war didn't even begin during the month of June! No emphasis on nuclear weapons programs or anything!

If the mods feel free to punish me for this thread, so be it. I was right!

Wasn't it I that said, just to spite you, when you posted this on 1 June, that the month wasn't over yet? ;)

Not like I ever cared though. Just like spiting.

I never thought that a war would break out in June either BUT there have been on going repeated flyovers of Iran by American drones and Spy planes. It seems to me that perhaps the US military is hoping the Iranians will get stupid and try to bring down a spy plane as to give a reason for invasion. Or if not that, at least if they activate air defense radars it will allow the US to pinpoint their location, so that they can quickly be destroyed in the event of an actual war.

Also there was that wierd incident a week or so ago where a U-2 crashed in the tiny country of United Arab Emirates on a mission supposedly over Afghanistan, which means that it Iran would have probably been directly in its flight path. I am just saying I thought that incident was a little fishy.

Yippee, you were right. How about employing your power to declare something really useful now - like Rumsfeld getting his tie caught in a woodchipper, or somesuch?
