We had a worst-commercials topic, so now we have a best-commercials one to balance it out.

To get straight to the point, the History Channels commercials own all.
To sum up:

-Marc Anthony walks into Cleopatras bedroom (presumably)
Marc: Claeo!
Cleo: Marc Anthony.
-Octavian walks in to Cleopatras bedroom
Octavian: Cleo!
Cleo: *flickers eyebrows*
-Octavian walks into bedroom, sees Marc and Cleo
Octavian: Marc!
-Marc walks in on Octavian and Cleo
Marc: Octavian!
Octavian: Marc!
-Cleo walks in on Marc and Octavian fighting
Cleo: Marc, Octavian!
Octavian: Cleo!
-Marc and Octavian walk into Cleos room
Cleo: Marc, Octavian...
-Bodyguards stand up

I actually laughed the first time I saw that commercial. You need to see it to get the full effec though.

I like the American Express card commercial w/ Ellen Degeneres. It actually doesn't annoy me.

One of my cats' favorite commercials is the one for Zoo Pals. "Woof, woof, Zoo Pals! Ribbit, ribbit, Zoo Pals!" You know, that whole thing.

Never seen the Zoo Pals one...

I feel obligated to mention Capitol Ones series, especialy the more recent ones. They actually make me want to get a capitol one card, if only to support the guys who make those commercials :P

Saw an Israeli commercial once:
Kid goes to the drinks vending machine and buys a coke.
He then steps onto the coke to reach the pepsi.
He then stands on both the pepsi and the coke to reach an Israeli brand.

I personally liked the Superbowl one where P. Diddy had to drive the Diet Pepsi Truck and so it became a fad.

The one, I think it's for Wendy's, where people are all trying to get lots of water because what they ate was really hot. So like a guy is putting his face in front of a sprinkler or the guy lifts up the Ozarka water dispenser.

Those are GENIUS!
I like the Jack Dee ones for Jonh Smith's bitter. Penguins will sell anything. I mean it.
And those Budweiser ones from years ago, with the chameleons, frogs, weasels, etc. "There comes a time when every frog has to croak".
Two crap beers, two good adverts.

I like the commercial for "The Island" (the new movie coming out), because the commercial is like 15 minutes long, and about 3 minutes in, I start thinking that I accidentily changed the commercial, forget what I was watching, start surfing...and then don't get to see the last part of the show I was watching. It rocks.

The Jack-in-the-Box commercial where Jack appologizes for an incident at the company picnic. It shows a woman went over a bucket bobbing for apples and you hear Jack and another man saying "Oh baby, that's hot" etc. You then see the two men eating a new hot and spicy burger.
Later the same two men drop some papers and are bent over picking them up. The lady says "Ow, baby, that's hot." Jack then says "You better be holding a sandwich."

There's also an Adidas commercial where a man goes running and everything deflates or pops (balls, water beds, car tires, inflatable playground-things)

Heh, sounds marvelous.

My current favourite is for vodka, I don't recall which brand, with Yuri and his refrigerator.

(I suppose it's not an effective commercial, if I can't even recall the brand.) ;)

The All Bran Commercial with William Shatner. I don't remember it really well, but it goes a little somethin' like this...

Man/Woman enter home and are scared when they see a strange man
Man: Who are you??
Will: I'm William Shatner here to tell you all about Kellogs All Bran cereal!
<crap about how good it is...>
Woman: So Will-
Will: Don't call Me Will, call me Bill! And DON'T call me late for dinner!
You have to watch it to understand it better

Best ones I've seen are the Toyota ones in Australia
four good ones
The bugger ad Guy On Farm with Hilux that 'powerful' and keeps screwing things up
The sumo one
And two with James Hird and Wayne Harms relieving important Grandfinal football moments 'Australian equilavalent of Superbowl'

Having said that the Honda ad kicks ass
