The colours do seem to attract people, that's probably beacuse of the dull and lifeless colour scheme this forum actually has. Intriguing. oooh colourful :) smilies

i like the colors but i also like to see a nice breakdown of how the forum feels about an issue(even if it's which color m&m tastes better).

It's because there are so many various opinions that are just a hair apart on a 50-foot spectrum and discerning all the shades of gray (or where yellow turns to green) is very hard sometimes. If you can narrow down the opinions from thousands to ten or fewer, it's a lot easier to find common ground and understand where people GENERALLY are.

Plus, some of us are just neurotic and like classifying and quantifying a little too much.
