there needs to be a view my posts button somewhere.

there is. sorta. go to the "profile" button at the top left hand of each page and you'll see all the threads you're subscribed to.
if you want to see your individual posts you'll have to go to search and search for your own username, making sure you select "view results as posts" rather than as topics.

You could also use the advanced search and search by Username, using your own name.
