What do you use to open a .bin or a .cue file?
Trying to open this damn program on a burned CD and I don't know what to do.
You need a CD-burning program to open the BIN file to burn the CD. The CUE file can be opened with Notepad, I believe to check that the BIN file is in the right location for the program to open it.

I used Roxio to burn it onto a bootable CD. I have only one CD left and I need to do it right.
EDIT: Btw, wtf?

The easy way is not to burn it at all, but mount the bin on a virtual drive. Deamon Tools is free and works perfectly. Very very easy to use.
Other than that, most burning soft can burn image files (that's what a bin is). I'm gonna take a wild geuss and assume you use Nero.
Go to Files->Burn Image and specify the .cue remember the bin & cue have to be in the same folder.
If Nero bitches about not being able to find the image you specify, open the cue file with notepad. Either paste the exact name of the bin into notepad and save it, or remane the bin so it mateches what it says in notepad.
NEVER burn the image on a CD without telling the burning soft it's an image file. Otherwise you can't use the CD for anything.
FYI.. An image file (iso, bin, etc.) is a "picture" of the data as it is on the original CD. People usually use imagefiles to cheat copy protections.
Bloody pirate! Hehe

Windows has its own virtual drive, but deamon works well. If you want to open a bin I think stuffit will do it

What exactly are you burning?
Oh, I'm not pirating anything. If I was, I could be forumbanned and so could you.
*saves some stuff onto notepad*
Thanks fellow you-know-what!

Nothing illegal.

Sorry, I misinterpreted what you were trying to do.

Use Nero to bun CDs from .bin/.cue combinations. For me, it works best.
BTW, uh, do I download the free trial of Nero 6 or what?

Actually, I burn very little, I just host it on a virtual drive with Daemon tools

Hehe sorry. I wasn't trying to get you banned.
Anyway, if it's something like an OS - like linux or some other perfectly free OS you can make copies of legally - you still don't need to do anything special other than tell the burning soft you're burning an image. If the original CD was bootable, the copy will be too.
I'm not too sure where things are in Roxy, but I suspect my directions for Nero will work with Roxy. Good luck.

That or Clone CD. Clone CD is a better image burner than Nero, but I doubt it will make a difference. The ideal for pirated games is Alcohol, but of course you don't need that ;)

Alcohol 120%? I've heard of that in one of the .txt files that came with...something...
But of course, it is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand! Hmm hmm.

Colodia I don't have a copy of it close by, sorry. But use CloneCD or Nero.
Not implying you're copyright infringing or anything, but did you know Alcohol 120% is the only burner that can cheat Starforce protection? Technology is crazy these days, huh?
Makes me wonder if there's cracked versions of it floating about on BT & eMule, because it's not free, and I really doubt those bloody pirates want to pay for their burning soft. Oh well, idle speculations on my part. Neither one of us do such things, right?
- Good luck ;)

Wow, if I had BT, I'd be damn well tempted! Well, looks like I'll be going to the store and paying for it LEGALLY...because I'm sure not a pirate.

That is what I find hilarious, Alcohol expects people to pay for their product when they know damn well their prime audience is crackers and looters

winimage is free and will also open .bin files and then extract them for you, thus you can just burn the files from there
