Most people probably haven't heard of this guy.
In fact, before a couple of days ago, I hadn't heard of him either, but alas...
Anyway, so, I work in an entertainment store, and the other day, while working in the music department, a group of kids walked in, and one of the kids was upset because none of his friends had ever heard of who he thought was such a great musician, Jack Johnson. I had never heard of him, so when the kid asked me if he was right about Jack Johnson's excellence, I had to tell him I had never heard of Jack Johnson.
So what did I do? What any one would've. I borrowed some Jack Johnson from the Internets. And boy oh boy, do I approve.
So, to those of you who haven't heard of Jack Johnson, here's your chance to hear of him.

I was introduced to Jack Johnson a few months ago from a friend of mine. I was hooked instantly. He has a very refreshing sound, and it's addicting.
I adore his music, especially since he grew up on the same island as me.

Jack's not too bad. My only complaint is that every song sounds like the last, there's very little variety. But I suppose it's not much of a genre to begin with.

I wouldn't say jack johnson is a no name,, its nearing the top of the charts here in the great white north,., more specifically goin up there in the more "musical" charts, he's not bad,, but for my own taste's a lil too soft and poppy that makes me not want to listen to more than the odd song of his (note i live in a lil hick town in canada, soo if most ppl here know someone it must mean they have some form of reconition even if its more akin to brian adams or similar artists rather than the main stream bubblegum pop)

For the uninitiated, it's been popular in this corner of the world (Aus/NZ) for some time now.
What's the variety of music like over there in NZ, Harlesburg? The lack thereof is the main reason I listen to only my CDs (If I want to listen to the same songs over and over, I'll choose them, thanks!).
Harlesburg, it could be worse. The Spice Girls could make a comeback...

I've known about him for fkin ages without really being a fan of his. Maybe he's just big in New Zealand like his mate Ben Harper.
i like him...just cuz he used to be a surfer
Just to balance the positive and negative here, Jack Johnson blows!
