All you need for a Doom movie is space marine, monster aliens, hell. That's it, and they turned it into RE

All I want to know is how could the possibly have managed to find a german director with less talent than Roland Emmerich? Are they genetically engineering them in a secret lab on a remote volcanic island? There has to be a fucking limit. People give Micheal Bey shit, but his homemovies are freaking Citizen Kane compared to what these two guys shit out into theaters.

-Boll has a $60 million budget for this movie.

Who on this green earth would allocate sixty million dollars for this? Who?

A three-hour running time is envisioned.

No one :headbang: is going to sit :headbang: through three hours of this CRAP!!! :headbang:

Anyone else ever experience embarrassment simply because the people who should be embarrassed either aren’t or are not showing it? Because I sure am about this.

I liked the "house of the dead" video game, but why would I want to watch a movie about it? I'd rather take the money I would have spent on a ticket and snacks and use it to play the arcade game instead.

If I wanted to pay 15$ admission fee + 15 dollars on popcorn and soda to watch Dungeon siege for 3 hours you know what I would do instead? Go the fuck out and BUY DUNGEON SIEGE, FOR TEN FLIPPING DOLLARS. I could buy the GAME for less than the cost of ADMISSION.

This has GOT to be a joke. I can't believe they made a movie out of a game with more or less ZERO sembalance of a plot (admittedly, the game was a lot of fun). The fact that someone is seriously pursuing this means that there are a lot of people like me who will see the movie for two reasons: 1. To see how much it sucks and 2. Because they've played the game and are damn curious to see what it looks like on screen.

The name of the main character in the movie is farmer. :headbang:

I'm not sure, but I think that the average person who buys a movie ticket doesn't really care about a plot. They just want violence, titties, and a few jokes that are simple enough for the average idiot to understand. This movie should make a fortune.

BTW, I know that came off as elitist. That was intentional. I beleive I really do have better taste than the average movie viewer.

Due to our lack of volcanic islands, we sadly cannot breed them there. However, we simply moved it into an abandoned Bunker out of World War II that seemed large enough to suit our purpose. Wait until you see what's coming at you in the next 10 years. *evil Dr. Evil laugh*

Didn’t sound elitist at all. I feel the same way. Whenever my friends ask me to come with them to see the latest waste of film and money, I can only ask “Why?”

I dunno, call me shallow, but I kinda liked the Resident Evil movies. It makes me feel good to see agents walking around blasting zombie left and right. Sort of a stress reliever, you might say. I couldn't watch it every day, but...

Anyway, has anyone here seen The Boondock Saints? It was pretty bloody, but I thought it had a pretty good plot.
