Canada is where I was going to become a refugee to after Bush won. Alas my emigration failed; the logistics of my journey were too much.

My plan to escape Bush:
Step 1: Outsmart Bush
Step 2: Go to Canada
Step 3: Exist in Canada
Step 4: Don't go back to America

I can see where your plan failed. Step 1 I presume? ;)

When I visited my girlfriend in the summer of last year, I'd flown in a day before Canada Day, and as I rode on a shuttle to terminal I needed at the airport, the guy commented how I was just in time for Canada Day. Had no clue about it, and was happy to learn. The next day, her family and I went out to celebrate, and I had a blast. I rather liked it more than July Fourth with my family. *uses Colodia as a body shield for any die hard Americans*

*sings*It's Canada Day, up in Canada Way..*trails off mumbling*

Anyways...Happy Canada Day!

Just went back from Rimouski's most excellent restaurant, 5-stars haute cuisine at a decent price.
Something you can't find in most countries: gastronomy in a small, lost-in-the-regions city.

Thanks Canada (and Quebec) for existing.
