I was thinking about this earlier today and I thought it'd be interesting to see what other people thought. In your opinion who do you think the best (living) actor or actress is? Back up your opinion...they can be from any country and any genre of movie.

I'm going to go with Bob De Niro...I may sound a little narrow-minded going with an American actor, but it's hard to find another actor with the kind of range he's got.

DeNiro is damn good, thoug as is Tommy Lee Jones. and Jonny Depp rules!

but i also like Patrick Stewart (not just for Star Trek lol) and Kenneth Branagh... shakesperian actors have to be good - especially to have worked at the royal shakespere company.
also like Sean Bean, but he's probably not as good, in terms of sheer talent, as the rest.

for versatility i'd probably choose Jonny Depp :)
