Hmmm, Similarly to Corneliu, I'm counting the hours to next may 26th.
Or, somewhat more relevantly, wishing Canadians a happy Canada day!

Happy Canada day to my fellow Canadians!!!

What will I do today? Well, there's not much happening around here, really (especially in the Bic village) so we'll go gathering wild strawberries & maybe a little walk at the islands.

Quebec mostly celebrate Canada's Day by moving!

A strange tradition it is, but 95% of the home rent lease start and end on July 1st.

We don't. I do because it's the one day a year I get to be jingoistic, which can be fun, in an incredibly annoying way.

Nonetheless: Happy Canada DAy everyone! I'll be mucking about the build site (helping parents build new house) and catching the fireworks here in BFN, Manitoba.

LOL. Nobody that I know of has called it Dominion Day since 1981. We started referring it to it officially as Canada Day in 1982. I would have bought Molson today, except my stupid boss lost my paycheque, so I'm a bit broke at the moment. Still, I hung out with my friends, wore red and white, pigged out on good food, and had a pretty good time. Maybe next year, I'll have some money to do a real celebration.

Hey,
I'm not a lumberjack or a fur trader.
I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber.
Or own a dogsled.
And I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada.
Although I'm certain they're really, really nice.
I have a prime minister, not a president.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it about, not a-boot.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peacekeeping, not policing.
Diversity, not assimilation.
And the beaver is a truly noble and proud animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch.
And it's pronounced "Zed," not "Zee," "Zed."
Canada is the second largest land mass,
The first nation of hockey,
And the best part of North America.
My name is Joe. And I AM CANADIAN!!!
Thank you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA!!! :D

Nice, overdone commercial. Does your country have any citizens who've lived?

At the end of the day, even though heated words may be exchanged, Canada is like a little brother to America... You just gotta love 'em! Happy Canada Day to you chaps.

This is for you David G Hall:

I AM AMERICAN...

I'm not particularly intelligent, open-minded, or generally well-liked.

I don't live in a clean place, I don't eat nutritiously very often, and I don't drive well.

I don't know Shakespeare, Da Vinci or Gutenberg.

Although I'm certain they weren't American.

I drink beer.....not good beer. I don't use utensils when eating.

I believe in guns for settling disputes, not discussions.

And I pronounce it AIN'T, not AREN'T.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack

...until I go anywhere, and what's the point in doing that.

Burger King IS fine dining. Cracker Jack IS a vegetable and WWF wrestling is real.

The UNITED STATES is the ONLY country in the world,

The FIRST nation of ignorance, and the BEST part of South America!

My name is Johnny Bob Jimmy Joe Ray...

...AND I AM AMERICAN!

LOL :D

Anyway, though happy belated wishes on Canada Day.
