Yay! I did it!
I stayed off NS for 48 hours for the first time since the date of Czardas's creation, February 25, 2005!!! :D This is a major step towards the breaking of my addiction! Ok, I might be on now, and probably most of you are wishing I could have stayed off for 72 hours ( ;) )...but I'm back for a short time. Then off for some more RL business! Life may soon cease to be divided into IC and OOC! ;)

Why Czardas you took as if i care.

I'll try not to.
Actually after a few days of RL, I'll get overpowered by the urge and come running back to the old computer. I'm doing better though. In May I made 1600 posts. In June, I made only 800. (And that has nothing to do with my week-long forumban or the fact that a spam thread I posted in 1000 times was deleted! );)

What Thread got deleted and did it strip your posts?

I've been days and days without NS. :)
... yet the thing is always pulling me back.
What Thread got deleted and did it strip your posts?I'm using hyperbole there, you dolt. Naturally some threads got deleted (I think Tink's geek thread, which claimed 150 of my posts, met the Heavy Hammer of Mod at last...), but none removed a significant portion of my postcount.
I think the primary reason my postcount this month is lower is because I ceased to use the spam forum.

Yes, it does that to you. ;)

Easy...do something stupid, like flame a moderator, spam a few messageboards, grief some regions...you'll be DEATed in no time and perfectly happy about it too.
Or (if you want to stay within the rules) sign up for community service, or get a job. Trust me, you'll have no time.
Or just throw your cable modem out the window (or DSL modem, or what have you). Then, remove the bookmark page for NationStates. That way when you click the little button that is supposed to say "NationStates" it'll take you somewhere else entirely, and you won't want to expend the effort to type the url into the appropriate box.
They all work.

LOL I'll really have to think about that. I have a job. It involves writing but I'm really sick of editing right now and I find myself pulled to NatinoStates all the time. Hmm I could call the GF and make plans. :p

My NS time has been gravely cut back lately. Its depressing. I think I need to quit my job and get back to what's important!
Went outside, eh?
How bout all this sky? It's really something, isn't it?

Max is gonna have to refine the chemicals NationStates emits. Their addictive qualities are clearly wearing off.
You will now forget that I ever said that. *Flash*

Like Hell you're getting away. You signed a contract, Czardas, in blood. We own you. *snaps fingers, two large men shove you into a chair, handcuffing each wrist to the arm, and tapes your eyes open, setting a computer monitor in front of you, and makes it scroll through threads, showing each and every post* There's no escape, Czardas. The NS has you.

I somehow managed to get it from my cell phone.
Bloody hell, I don't pick up my cell phone in the middle of Geometry just to be gassed!
I amazingly woke up in my next class, Spanish!

I briefly found the perfect 'nicotine patch' analogy for NationStates - important exam revision. It was nowhere near as satisfying, but it mysteriously culled almost all cravings for NS for almost a month. By the 28th June, I was almost free. Then the exams were over. Help me, please... :(

*laughs evilly, as well* Indeed...a NationStates webpage cookie! *laughter becomes maniacal*
Btw, the most I've ever gone without NS was 24 hours, against my will. I used to lurk a lot until a couple months ago.
