WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fishermen in northern Thailand have caught the biggest catfish on record -- a 646-pound (293-kg) giant the size of a grizzly bear -- and eaten it, the WWF and the National Geographic Society said on Wednesday.

Look at this bastard!

They ate it?
Hell, I would have sold it, keep that sucker alive and give it to an aquarium, then take a percentage of the profits. Make a HUGE deal out of it.

Of ocurse, eating it as good as well. Theyre not going to be hungry for a while.

Oh yeah I saw that! Its incredible. I would have however sold it to market. Than again If I lived where he lived and the village was hungry I guess I would have shared it.

They did try to keep it alive, for conservation officers but it died before they could get to it. 646lbs- feed alot of people -that! :)
