So, the grapefruit post got me to thinking. Are we all the same age as our significant others? Are you male or female? Is your significant other male or female? And how old are each of you?

Us:

Me: Female, 29
SO: Male, 25

(If he were 29 and I 25 that would seem normal; since it's the way it is, it's very strange.)

Me: 33 as of 7:36 am CST July 1st
Her: 31 as of 9:42 pm CST September 7th

Both 18. Actually, our birthdays are only three days apart.

28 here. No significant other at the moment. I've only once been in a relationship with someone younger than myself, which I guess is pretty odd considering I'm a guy?

Anyway, I figured all you abbreviators out there might get a kick from knowing SO is the Danish word for a Hog

I plan on it, after I get some other things settled (Like where I'm going to live tomorrow...). We're having a disagreement over whether or not she should stay in 4th gear while accelerating up hills. I don't know why...

My SO is less than a year older than me (he's male, I'm female). I've never dated a man younger than me, and only dated one woman younger than me...not really sure why, I just tend to end up with people who are older than me.

Interesting that this thread appeared just now, since I've been thinking about this topic lately.

My SO, who is very recent, is ten years older than me. I'm 18, he's 28.

I'm 5'5" (after taking a deep breath an standing with perfect posture ;) ), he's 6'4". Our wedding pictures are fun, to say the least.

The attraction to short girls must run in his family, too. His brother is 5'10. Brother's wife is 5'1". Their pictures are cute, too.

She is about a year younger than me.

The thing is, I'm attracted to short girls, but my current girlfriend (who I am madly in love with, by the way) is a couple of inches taller than me (about 1 to 3, I'm awful at judging these things)

How exactly is a significant other defined? I've never had a girlfriend before.

Six months difference between us.

No SO currently, but I've always dated younger men. They're easier to train. :D
