Sadly that depends on the people and the nature of the thread in which you meet them.
I, for instance, am generaly fairly amiable unless Ive stayed up all night. I do tend to get rather less amiable in certain types of political threads.
Others, IE: Commando, who no longer exists, are simply stupid.
And yet others are simply political nutters who think that General should be an endless US/UN/Conservative/Liberal/Whatever bashfest.

But I think that a majority of NSers fit into a catagory similar to mine...sort of :P
