Here are some ideas on what he may say tonight. What predictions do you have at what he will say.

He's going to talk about how the spineless democrats have somehow managed to single handedly managed to thwart his policy at every turn despite his party controlling all three branches of the federal government, because they love gay terrorists, hate Christ and his chosen people: Americans. Only it'll sound like a 4th grader wrote the speech in crayola. Oh, and he's going to talk about how he thinks about Iraq everyday, especially when he's on his semiannual month long vacation. (He'll let us know when he comes up with something.)

He will immediately withdraw all troops from Iraq and declare war on Iran, placing all the troops there. He says he enclosed gitmo and declare for attrocities that Gitmo is to be expanded to include all of Cuba. France objects, he declares all french enemy combatants. French Fries will never carry that name again. After Donald Rumsfeld is killed by friendly fire in Baghdad, Dean is immediately appointed to fill his position.
He makes a few remarks of the bright future of the United States of America, how they are exactly the role model they proclaim to be gas prices will be going up and up and ahead, up and ahead they will go up and the future is bright for an uppity country which loves Democracy and enjoys the greatest freedom in the world. Except for the poor people of Venezuela who do not enjoy freedom. Therefore, Venezuela must be freed from the bad influence of the Axis of Evil (They are all part of the UN, you know).
In the meantime, the newest flash-animation that circles the internet portrays Mighty George vs. Kim Jong Il Cage match style.
He declares the Democratic Party illegitimate because the Supreme Court ruled some nutty §§§ was crazy and immediately declares them enemy combatants. Some are shot when exiting Congress.

You don't want that to happen:

Declare that he has screwed up everything and he is resigning. Cheney to become president.

Addition: Election slogan "Dick 4 Pres"

All joking aside, you can get some of excerpts of the speech here (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050628/dctu083.html?.v=3) if you wish. My early favorite for most hypocritical statement is this one: The only way our enemies can succeed is if we forget the lessons of September 11 ... if we abandon the Iraqi people to men like Zarqawi ... considering that well before the war started, the Bush administration had plenty of opportunities to take out Zarqawi and didn't. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4431601/) Why? Because it helped bolster their bullshit argument that Hussein had links to al Qaeda.

And people wonder why I'm so cynical about anything Bush has to say.

He's going to shore up support by saying that bringing Iraq forward is worth the blood spilled. We will not pull out of Iraq till this job is done.

The Nazz, "The only way our enemies can succeed is if we forget the lessons of September 11 ... if we abandon the Iraqi people to men like Zarqawi ..."

This is an accurate statement. We cannot forget that fateful day. If we do, our enemies will be able to strike again. We cannot abandon Iraq to Zarqawi just like we can't abandon the middle east to the likes of Osama Bin Laden. (also mentioned in the speech.)

I am also amazed that you totally ignored the part before the section you quoted but not totally surprised that you did.

Of course we have to stay. Now that we've made this shithole and we're neck deep in it, it'd be irresponsible to pull out, but what would be even more irresponsible is to not tell the men and women fighting this war why they were sent into harm's way, not a bunch of excuses and lies. And aren't are enemies able to strike again at us anyway? Isn't that why we have a color coded fear guide, Big Brother telling us how scared we should be on given days, or was that just a bunch of bullshit made up by the Administration to establish a totalitarian regime?

I imagine his speech will be more of the canned neo-Con justification for the war in Iraq. He will elaborate on why "staying the course" is important, and then suggest that the "spreading of democracy" is important to the security of the Middle East.

I have no love for bush(fucking neo conservative) but you statement about a country under control appalls me. What kind of control are you talking about. Control of a crazy dictator who uses chemical weapons on his own people and rules by death in torture is not under control. The war wasnt the greatest choice on bushes part but now that were in it its too late to back down, it would send Iraq into chaos if we pulled out. But still it amazes me that you think Iraq was "under control" before we invaded. Right now Iraq's probly in worse shape then it was before but in the long term if we stay its gonna be alot better.

As I got to this after the fact had to pick the one thought was best suited regardless of what he said... So choose the ones about Democrats... Since he didn't talk about them they did tell on themselves in their replies after the speech... As the leader of the party Tapped danced around questions asked her about her thoughts on how we pull out of Iraq and end all this. Passing all the blame on Bush and his side.. They forget they also supported it before the War and blood was lost.

The thing that bothered me was NBC after report on it.. I heard what Bush said didn't need to hear some dumb news idiot tell me what I should have heard.. or lies to drive us to hear what was not said..

1) We went into Iraq to find and kill terriorist.. Since they have not come here we have found them and are killing them... They are not knocking on our church, school, hospital, and other building door to get in with their bombs. Nor are they driving cars loaded with bombs into them or large groups of people in places not in the war zone... We have baited the rats to come to us so we can kill them not wait for them to come to us...

If you have to fight then pick the high ground, don't let your enemy get it... Bush took the high ground and now is holding it. To retreat now or sit a date for that would do exactly what he said. Leave Iraq in danger of becoming a greater threat than it might have been.. As for WMD... what were the planes that crashed into the towers on 911 or all the terrorist bombs... still being used to kill people... The UN set WMD as nukes and chem when they were threats... 911 changed that and the UN needs to wake up.

Honestly, which do you think looks better to the Iraqis? The "face-losing" that comes with admitting that yes, Rumsfeld was wrong and Powell and Shinseki were right, or the fact that if we had enough people in the country, we might actually be able to fight offensively against the insurgents instead of bunkering down and actually stop people who are crossing the border.

We actually do have enough people in the country to fight the insurgency. The Iraqis are also getting trained to fight the insurgency and some of them are doing combat duty, on their own, without Coalition support and more of such units are being trained. YOU will also notice that I said that marriage is not exclusive to christianity. When you keep this thought in mind you might realise that there is more than one definition to the word.

For example some muslim countries allow a man to have multiple wives and yet christianity does not. However a christian would still say that the man is married to multiple women even though this does not fit the christian definition.
