I wonder if this topic has been extensively studied before, but it would be fun to use the 9x9x9 matrix of Nation States government types to classify the existing countries. I guess there would be some obvious choices, but I'd like to see a little flame war here, just for fun. :D
Of course we have to justify the classification, according to the coordinate system.
Political Freedom {-1, 0, +1}
Personal Freedom {-1, 0, +1}
Economic Freedom {-1, 0, +1}
I'll start with my own country.
Canada:
Political: 0 (representative democracy; however, the one-step election isn't the fairest system; and political parties are in a bad shape)
Personal: +1 (the real land of the free!!!)
Economic: 0 (a lot of regulation, welfare state, but still very easy to start your own business)
Left-Leaning College State ?
