I saw it. I was actually pretty disappointed by it. It doesn't look that cool to me.

take a look. if you have broadband it should play right along. i checked to make sure its on the volkswagen page
i dont know if it will be good. but it will have lots of action at least. my sister is all but guaranteed to love it.

I never much cared for the original, so I doubt I'd want to see the remake..didn't even know they were making one till you mentioned this.

Shallow Hal was 1/2 serious... So it's not too hard to see in take on such. He's a decent actor.
I saw it on USA, they ran it just before Happy Gilmore last night. (And they are doing the same with War of the Worlds tonight just before Jurassic Park

As soon as I seen a T-rex fighting a giant gorilla... how can anyone not approve? That's like... a movie that resolves who would win between pirates and ninjas!

Too right! Showing a fight between a giant gorilla and a T-Rex immediately gives any movie 3 stars in my book. I'd say it's gonna be a damn good movie from the looks of it.
I can't wait.
Before people start to complain about the apparent subpar CGI employed in the trailer, you'd do well to remember that WETA is still six months away from completing the effects. I have faith in Peter Jackson, even if it isn't the perfect movie, it'll still be damned entertaining.
