Ladies and gentlemen, the Wal*Mart equivelent of Uday/Qusay (sp?) Hussein...is dead.

A swing or a miss for America? I don't like parading on one's grave...but...c'mon...we're talking about Wal*Mart's demon son here.

All those Wal-Mart heirs did nothing for their money, if I'm not mistaken. They're all worth that much solely off of their inheritance from their father.
Not that I'd wish them dead, of course.
Me like Wal-mart. I can get anything and everything at Wal-mart.
Besides that, everyone who shops there is either a redneck or a cheap ass.

So which are you? :p

Jesus, everytime I go there it's depressing. Get a shitty looking person who just got out of bed, multiply them by about 100, and you have every Wal-Mart here in Southern California.
Though amazingly, I can find a lot of hot women there.
EDIT: Not the same shitty looking people mind you.

Meh. Wal-Mart is like bowl movements. If you don't have them, all the shit piles up and you die of blood poisoning. If Americans don't have Wal_Mart, half the population starves to death and has no hot-pants to look trailer-trash in (Which seems to be a de-rigeur fashion statement in most parts of America I've been to)
So some rich guy died, big deal. Unless it means I get his $$$, I don't care one way or the other.

You shouldn't speak of the dead like that, any dead infact. You may not be a Christian, but I'm sure there is that whole karma thing.
Haha. The Wal*Mart is my town is horrible. You go there during the day to pick up say a pack of batteries; you get run over by old people who I would swear have a personal vendetta against people under 20. Then if you go at night you get all the "gangsters" who sit there to hang out and threaten people as they walk in.
Oh how I love Wisconsin

Um...so? Some rich guy died. Will his death bring anyone above the poverty line? Will it help anyone? Nope.
When a rich man dies, his heirs get the money; its not like they donate it all to the poor and needy the second they kick the bucket. It doesn't help any of us, so unless someone actually wants rich men dead for some strange reason, this crash is just another fatality.

Personally, I don't shop at Walmart, the Kmart in my town is closer and cheaper. It carries the stuff I need, plus some. Their inability to understand video games has them pricing the games nice and low.
But, besides that, I feel sorry for the Walton's loss of a brother. I'd imagine it's tough to lose someone who's been involved in your life for so long.
In fact, the only thing I do buy from walmart are clip-on sunglasses. Because no one else carries them.

Regardless of how he attained his wealth, or of what is thought of the chain he represented - it is inadvisable to speak ill of the deceased. Im not saying this because of religious interest, Im saying it because I think the world has lost touch with morality when we are so desensitized to the nature of death and those it claims to make a joke of it. Unless you fully expect to be given the same disrespect when you pass, I would feel at least some humiliation to that end.
Hes gone, requiestat in pace.
So which are you? :p
A bit of both, I suppose. ;)
Seriously, it's gotten so bad that me and my friends just go up to Wal-mart for fun, because there's nothing else to do.

I still don't know what these "hotpants" you speak of are though. Perhaps living in an affluent suburban area and amongst college students are factors that have insulated me. I know not.

What an absolutely moronic title for the thread. Somehow equating Sam Walton and his sons to sadaam and his sons?
I'm no lover of Walmart, but worldwide, there are a billion people that apparently are.
I havent heard of any of the Waltons maiming, torturing or killing people. Really just employing many, many people. Many senior citizens, many physically challenged and mentally handicapped too. And seing the Walmart parking lot full from opening to closing must mean something positive is going on in there.

Looks like the heir to the Walmart Empire is not immune from God's indiscretions.
