Did anyone watch the documentary on the Discovery Channel last night called "First Canadians". It was one of the most interesting things I've seen on T.V. in months. It was about the theory that the first humans that discovered North America were ice age people that crossed over on a huge ice bridge that stretched from Europe to North America over the atlantic ocean about 17 000 years ago. I especially found the part about how they found the same DNA in 1/4 of the native tribes in Northern Ontario as they did in people in Europe. If you haven't seen it well you missed a good program and I recommend you watch it if it plays on re runs.

Apparently the people at the Discovery Channel think 17,000 is larger than over 20,000. :p
