Probably rugby. After all, it's played in many places of the world, and it's already got Olympic experience.

One interesting sport I'd like to see in the Olympics is American football. Now that it's gone international with the NFL Europe, perhaps it can qualify for Olympic sport in the next few Games.

I think rugby or American Football either one would be a great competition... Imagine if you could get the crazy Australians on one side, and the orange-painted Dutch on the other side?? Interesting turn of events..

Most players in NFL Europe are from the US, though, but I think Rugby should definitely be added.

How would that work? Whoever finishes first wins? But luck would be a major factor, too...

Though not a fan of American Football, I have to agree with you. It would make for a fascinating Olympic event. But it would have to be Canadian (CFL) rules..otherwise everyone would either fall asleep of pop a gasket in frustaraion as the Amercian styule stops every 20 seconds. Just my two-cents.

Lacrosse would be a good addition too. Its becoming increasingly more global...plus its brutal, which always draws crowds ;)

Some kind of Motorsport event would be neat too: All competitors would have EXACTLY the same kind of car, limited to 6 or less per race, no pre-qulaifying, no pole positions, just a paralelel starting grid, like sprints in track & field.

Biathalon is one of my favourite sports to watch in the Winter Games.
I'd love to see any and all of the following added to the Summer Games:

Skydiving Fencing
Synchronized Archery
Triple Jump Caber Toss
100 meter hurdle dive (freestyle)
Paintball Surfing
Full Contact Marathon
Uneven Bars Cricket

Came to me when I was vegging out in some high school class in the late 80s. My buddy and I had a list of like 50 sports. After all this time, those few are all I remember...

Oh, but sorry girls, none of that protective clothing, and yes your hair and teeth and face will get messed up...

Wow, um... that last part? Totally condescending. And completely uncalled for. You do know that girls play rugby, and that they can play it well and do so with just as much gusto as any guy?

Apologies, notice edit, but btw the 'girls' bit, was aimed at american 'footballers', not the female of the species as we know they are more deadly than the male

I'll say rugby.

If American football was played in many more countries around the world, then perhaps that too. But that'd be something the U.S. would destroy in for several Olympiads and nothing more.

First, get rid of football from the games because its already one of the the most widely played sports in the world and I don't see the Olympics as a place for it.
Personally, I'd like to see Ultimate Frisbee given a chance - all they have to do is get round the fact that there isn't a referee in the game.

I've always wanted to see 'equestrian high-dive' :D

Seriously though. I think they should incorporate the X-games/Gravity games into the Olympics. Skateboarding, BMX, Moto-X, etc.

I don't think rugby should be added because the major international teams would have a hard time making it, and it would be near impossible to fit a real competition into 2 weeks.

Rugby 7s on the otherhand would be absolutely perfect for the olympics.

There should be a sexual portion of the Olympics.

1. the Sexual Pentathalon - one man, five women. The man has to run 1 km to the first woman, bring them both to orgasm, and continue the next 1 km to the next woman. Each woman has to be satisfied - no faking. We can instrument their bodies to make sure. And at the end, he has to run 1 km to the finish line. All of this is for time, and of course, we have judges for style, technique, appearance, etc.

2. The cum shot - for volume and distance

3. The Dead Lift - women lifting weights with their... well.

I'm sure you can think of some more.

Oh and there should be a seperate 'drugs olympics' where there are no rules for body altering substances.

Who wouldn't enjoy watching oversized beefed up men running the hundred metres in 7 seconds and collapsing dead at the end?

(Of course, if it did become an Olympic sport, I'd only want hot babes to be eligible.)
