What kind of compensation do the homeowners get for this wretched abuse?
I rarely say this but, I am SO happy I don't live in the states. This will eventually lead to violence, most likely a siege, you can count on it.

They get fair market value (which in the Real Estate market is almost always more than they originally payed for it). They can appeal to get more. I dont think it will lead to violence, the US people are too weak to fight for their rights.
I want to picket the supreme court.
