Since I'm from a country that employs conscription, I have little first-hand knowledge about professional armies. Now, I was conscripted and of course didn't expect any serious pay. But, here're my questions:
For how high a salary would you just "be on duty" (as a nation needs an army it can dispatch within hours)?
As a professional soldier, how much do you make for how much work? Tell me the rank, please.
