This is an article from the NY Times which I think encapsulates very well the thoughts of many of those who are either marginalized by or raise their voices in protest against what they feel is not right with America today.

Very good anecdote and I think one reason why we hope and pray for America even as we sometimes criticise it. It's a GREAT country full of GREAT people and, despite the hopefully few who would seek to destroy it, we believe it can continue to be great as long as it sticks to the values and ideals it was founded upon.
