well my nation would definatley be jedi, i would want to be jedi... but i'm pretty sure i'd actually be a sith. i mean i took a personality/emotional test recently and it said (and i quote) "your emotions are ruled by Fury, Hatred, Dispair and Panic"... kinda qualifies me as a Sith don't ya think? :p

I'd occasionaly side with the Jedi, but I would never, ever ally with the Sith even though I'm closer to them philosophically. I'd likewise have a healthier respect for Sith as opponents when I chose to fight them, and I'd prefer to refrain from engaging Jedi as I regard them as beneath my talents.

My nation would be Sith, but in a different sense of the word. Whereas the Jedi thrive on a controlled environment and are forbidden from emotion, Sith have the freedom to explore every aspect of their emotions, ranging from love to hate, calm to fury. I set no real rules for my people...like Sith, they're allowed to do whatever they damn well please.

That would be a Force Adept.

I would most likely be a tainted Jedi. Much as I would like to be a Jedi, I tend to be too unstable, easily prone to outbursts of emotion.

As a side note, there really isn't any such thing as a "Shadow Jedi". There are Jedi, and then there are people (at varying rates) sliding into the grip of the Dark Side. Once you start crossing lines, it is very difficult to start saying "At this point and no further" again.

He wasn't the best in lightsaber combat, but that was more because he had four artificial limbs (think about it: if you can't feel your hands, how hard do you think it is to move them into the right position to fend off a saber blow?) than because of any lack of skill on his part. Keep in mind, though, that before he lost his limbs, he took down a Sith Lord in direct combat, a Jedi Master who was guarding the Jedi Temple, and almost took down Ben Kenobi, who was widely regarded as the best saberwielder of his generation. He was also a phenomenally strong Force user. So no, Vader was a very powerful Sith Lord.

But let's not kid ourselves; Luke was far better than most people give him credit for. If you look at Ep. III, the best Padawan in the academy hung with a half-dozen stormtroopers for about ten seconds. Luke hung with Vader at Bespin for about an hour. Vader wasn't trying to kill him, but Luke accounted very well for himself considering that he'd only had a few months of formal Jedi training.

Yes and no.

Vader probably was not quite as strong as the strongest Sith/Jedi in just about anything. He couldn't create life like Sidious' master, nor could he see into the future as well as Sidious or Yoda, nor could he mind trick as well as Kenobi. But that being said, Vader seemed very strong in a wide variety of different skills: Sidious could hurl what looked like several ton metal objects at Yoda, but Vader could rip stuff almost as heavy right out of the walls and throw it at you while dueling, he could tell that Kenobi was around even while Kenobi was trying to stay hidden, he could tell that Luke was around even when Sidious could not.

My guess then is that while Vader might not have been as strong as some of the best Sith at specific Force-related skills, taken as a whole, he was an incredibly formidable warrior because he could do so many different things very, very well.
