Does anyone know a good science supply site that sells them? I have a few, but I want more to compare prices. I have:
-macnanbio.com
-wardsci.com
-sciencestuff.com
Also, if anyone is willing to sell their own set, feel free to name a price. No Diamonds please(too expensive).

When I had my college geology course, we built our own kit from ordinary stuff.
You need a few things, such as:
- a piece of glass
- a piece of unglazed ceramic
- a piece of quartz and a piece of calcite (can be found in some handcraft stores / handmade jewels store / beads stores)
I don't remember the rest of the items, though...
You can also use muriatic acid (a bottle of CLR) to identify rocks that contain calcium.
Try out this:

It doesn't have a diamond, but it has all 9 other basics (even corundum). And it's $12.00. It's towards the bottom, number 1502-030. Hope this helps!

Thanks Gondeau, I may buy one of the sets from them. But, WardSci seems to have the best deal. All 9 + streak plate, magnifier, magnet for $10. Smallish rocks(1x1), but thtas ok. :)
Next: Any good UV light sellers? I have one, but its old so the mercury condensed...or if you know how to fix it.
