I'd ask directly for help from NSers, but that would get too complicated and I have too many questions.

It's probably three points for a win and one for a tie. And if they're in the final round, then the top three point leaders go to the World Cup (I think South America gets three berths).

bit like the super bowl, teams have to be in the top their regional leagues then the top however many qualify for the World cup. The hosts and the previous winners do not have to qualify.

Yeah, the US Team should come to the Confed Cup. They'd get their arse kicked, just like Australia did :( . I thought Oz could do better. They certainly would've deserved it.
But I am thoroughly surpirised that Germany is better than Argentina (although only on Goal Difference)
