Do you think that generally the inventions a country comes up with show the attitude and/or culture of you RL nation? If so please state some national inventions and how they describe you country.

I think it does, and this is shown by NZ inventions (Jet Boat, Bungy Jumping, Zorb etc) which show our general passion for outdoor sports and activities, and our no fear attitude (kinda important when jumping off a 100meter high bridge with a rubber band round your legs)

China, inventor of paper, gunpowder, compass, printing, plus acupunture, soccer, rudders for boats, stirrups, silk, tea, porcelain, vaccination, Confucianism...

It just shows how smart we can be - if we put our hearts and minds to it. We should be inventing a whole lot more often if we stopped arguing between ourselves and scheming how to get the most out of unlawful practices such as unsafe mining, poisonous foods and corruption.

I don't know if these were invented in the US, but the advertisements for them make me wonder if most Americans are retarded.

A girl is shown trying but failing to fold a small towel. The invention is a device that folds a small towel in three easy steps.

A person whose face remains just out of view tries to pour spaghetti into a colander but misses and ends up pouring the spaghetti into the other side of the sink. The invention is a pot with a lid that clamps onto the pot and has holes in it.

A bodybuilder is shown wearing a thick belt around his six-pack abdomen. The invention is a belt that sends pulses of electricity through your abdomen in order to magically build up a six pack. The feds cracked down on that device about 100 years ago, but someone reinvented it and the Bush Administration isn't stopping it.

What did we invent... First of all, we, as people, or we, as country?

As country - hmm... Long, long ago we invented a new alphabet (the Cyrillic) and we managed to make Rome and Constantinopol acknowledge it as "holy" (before that only the Latin and Greek were holy). We also invented a new milk substance called "yoghurt" (thanks to the Lactobacilicus Bulgaricus), which is getting even more popular (especially in Japan), because of it's good health indicators. Later, we're the first, who used an airplane for bombing (during the First Balkan War) and also the first woman in an air raid is ours. The first electronic hand watch is made by Petar Petrov, Bulgarian. A Bulgarian also discovered the photoelectretic (not sure about the spelling) state of the substances, which made possible the creation of photo-copying machines. And probably many other even smaller inventions and discoveries, I have forgotten... But IMO the biggest thing we're proud of is:

As people, not considering where they live - a Bulgarian, living in the States (John Atanasoff) invented the computer. Hmm... Thanks to him, now we're writing all this! ;)

Hm, lets see. Automobile, rocket, blimp. Seems like people here want to get around fast. ;)
