Private Adam Mills, a sharp-eyed soldier from the West Midlands, has had an eventful start to his deployment to Iraq. Just days after arriving in theatre, Private Mills, 19, of 1 Staffords (part of the Staffords Battlegroup currently operating as Task Force Maysan) discovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) close to the roadside.

Better to make the news by making silly videos than make the news by being blown up. And don't you dare call us cowards... ;-)

Leave our brave lads alone. How dare you. Better to have a bit of a laugh than spend your time looking for weapons of mass destruction that dont exist. That video was considered to be so hilarious that it crashed the MoDs computer network. Quite funny really. And considering what they're up against, its quite impressive that they still maintain a sense of humour.

Ok, that video's pretty old news, but more importantly - if we don't allow our own people a bit of fun, how can we claim to want the best for the Iraqis?

All armies have some people who do this in their spare time. The Americans probably do it too (well, many of their soldiers think they're in a video game, so maybe not?). I remember someone recently posted a hilarious video made by Norwegian troops in Kosovo.

It's great to see they can get a break and let off some steam! Bless each and every one of them.

Haha, nice one. Good to see proof that not all soilders resort to humiliating Iraqis for their source of amusement.
