So you've got the two biggest icons of the stealth action genre. Who will dominate?
My vote goes to Sam Fisher, simply because the 3rd Echelon rules.

Fisher. Snake is just another cut-and-paste unstoppable killing machine. At least you can get through splintercell without killing anyone except your targets.

Plus what other hero gets the line:
"Find out if he's a terrorist or if his still working for uncle sam"
"Those two aren't mutally exculsive you know"

Solid Snake. He is the clone of the greatest soldier of the 20th century, Big Boss, and it could be said has surpassed even him in some ways. And not only can he sneak past a very large number of terrorists and defeat special forces squads, he is pretty good at defeating walking nuclear battle tanks by himself as well. Thus Solid Snake for the win in this one.

You can get through MGS:TTS, MGS2 and MGS3 without killing anyone as well. Though I have to admit that quote is pretty damn good.

I hate the boss battles of the MGS series but Snake is a pretty good stealther. He'd kick Fisher's ass no problem.

Booo! The biggest icon of the stealth genre can be no one but Garrett from Thief.
