Oh, as far as I'm concerned there isn't much to keep up with.
You can play along, you can play the role playing things (but I don't know how that works), or you can just debate here about whatever bothers you. And that's fairly easy. :D

It's pretty easy to get in the swing of things if you put some effort into it. Try not to let a few jerks ruin things for you if you ever run into any (I had trouble with a couple when I started, but they didn't bother me for long).
