Instead of having a debate over whatever, I think we should have a debate over which whatever is the best to debate about. ;)

I would say the the US vs Europe is the best because it can include many of those other topics within it.

Why isn't there an individualism vs. collectivism option? It's pretty much the most basic political divide...Plus most of NS's posters are either left-libertarians or right-libertarians, so the social issues are generally much more one-sided...

I dunno, but whatever it is, it seems to come up as an option in a lot of polls. I think I average somewhere around half a post a day, so I'm not really here enough to get all the inside jokes. Maybe one of the "insiders" will take pity on us. :)
