About every month I resurrect many of my countless puppets that I failed to log into and were deleted. Its usually just 5 -10 nations....but once in a blue I ask for over 20 -40 nations to be resurrected. I usually get the "Your nations have been resurrected." response from the MODS....except for my latest reply which read....
Your 26 nations have been resurrected. --The Modified Democratic States of Cogitation

Holy shit. Why did you need/want so many puppets?
Someone needs to bake the mods a cake for the work you alone put them through. :p

Why don't the mods just let your natiions stay in oblivion? They are hardly worth the trouble. :D

Good one, but I suggest putting up a mod only poll, and letting them vote. *nods*
Man, imagine using those puppets, and just having one massive war inbetween the lot of them.

My puppets go to war, but sometimes I make a mistake and post something with the wrong nation and it makes no sense.

Well.....I have always been a defender...so my first nations served that purpose. Any good defender will have over 5 puppets. After a few months of my UN getting stuck in 1 region, I decided to become The Puppet Collector (Loong time ago...u might remember my ads in Feeder HQ's). I already had about 20+ puppets...when i started advertising for puppets that added about 20 - 30 more. Eventually my UN was able to move again, so The Puppet Acropolis stopped taking puppet donations and i was back to defending.
I started to get into feeder politics and as an Ambassador i found it usefull to place one of my puppets in the region i am sent to....so i created 12 Tresville puppets (with the name Tresville in them) to represent me in whatever region I was sent to. So, i was up to 60+ nations at that time.
That number slowly grew as i started to hold nations for NS friends and took donations from time to time. I was up to 80 in December of 2004...and during the Pixiedance reign in THE NORTH PACIFIC....I created probably 20 more. Now i just create Tresville Nations for any cool word or interesting name i find. My latest ones are Tresville Equilibrium, Tresville Cleric (both inspired by the movie Equilibrium), The Helm of Tresville and Puppet Reaver. I believe I have about 20 nations with the name Tresville in them now spread around NS...u can find me in the top regions...even if u don't see my name...he he he. The puppet list will grow....lol

Shouldn't this thread be in gameplay? Not Intel....i just like having puppets...I can Clear happenings (in legal fashion of course), leave them in regions and be concidered a native, switch UN's constantly, do a puppet Invasion ( as i did in The Pacific and in JAL Puppet Warehouse), lend puppets out to defenders, infiltrate Orgs in NS.....u can do a lot with puppets.
P.S. I do still take donations if anyone is interested....I guarantee that your puppet will never fall into the hands of Invaders...and will continue to prosper. I have over 60 nations over the 1 billion mark, 20 over the 2 Bill mark and 5 over 3 Billion!!!

The guy just before you submitted a Getting Help request for 12 nations and the guy just before him submitted 20 Getting Help requests for 20 different nations. All in all, last night, I resolved 30 Getting Help requests, most of which concerned the resurrection of 64 nations belonging to various players. It was like I'd run into The Neverending Pile of Puppets. In Tresville's case, I was surprised that his request for 26 nations didn't have one for each letter of the alphabet. :p

Now available in Supermarionation!
I so need to start a puppet called "Super Mario Nation" now, just because it's so easy to take that word and then slice it differently than it's supposed to.
How much did it cost SuperMario Nation to get that? :D
ok.
I'm sad. Sowwy.

"Laugh about it for a moment."You know, that reminds me. If you (Cog) were already a Game Mod by early 2004, you'd know, I had a whole lot of puppets. We started out with a few 'main' nations (Mauvasia, Jeffie, and Dreet are the only ones still active today). Then we created 26 more, one starting with each letter of the alphabet. However, there were still a few UN categories we'd missed, so we created more nations to get the extra categories. Then we created nations that served specific OOC purposes (i.e. a nation that spoke only in onomatopeia; a nation that was obsessed with fighting wars...) but were never used for anything in-game. At its height our region Karakataka contained over 120 nations (128 was the final count), all of which have since disappeared, with about 15 exceptions. I now have about 18-20 nations, only 3 of which I log into regularly and none of which I am planning to ask for restoration.
You may remember the day I submitted about 30 nations to be restored (the nationcount dropped from 116 to 74 and I couldn't remember all of them). I used to give the mods a hard time. All of Mauvasia's telegrams read 'Your nations have been restored', except in cases of humor (i.e. 'Deathmakers' has been resurrected).

I've given away more than twenty puppets, and still have about forty. I remember one time I asked for eleven of them to be resurrected. Amazingly, it was done the next day. I was impressed.

Nowadays for some reason it takes forever for a GH request to get processed. I wonder why that is? Maybe it has something to do with Myrth's retirement.

Nations restored. Too many puppets.....no such thing. I have been told that others have more (though I doubt it). Thanks to the MOD who resurrected my nations, 5 minutes after i asked for them to be restored!! Good Job!

Jeez, and I thought two puppets were hard to manage...and one puppet was GIVEN to me for winning a contest, and the other puppet is my fiancee's nation that I log into more than she does...but 26 puppets? We should all be so lucky...

You must have a Main nation....just add your puppets to the doccier...or create a puppet just to track them.

Received: 1 day ago 32 nations restored? Honest to God, if you can't keep up with your own stable of puppets, you need to let some of them die. This get ridiculous every few weeks.
I've raised this with the other mods, and we're discussing whether to allow these absurd lists to continue to be serviced. The system was designed for people who left the game and came back, or accidentally missed a week. It's a pain in the butt to do this. We'll most likely be adding something to the rules sticky to that effect once we've had a chance to hash it out.
Enough. We're going out of the "Tresville Revival" business. Either you log in to them every 60 days, or they die. This has been your final mass restore. Guess I done did it now.
The system was designed for people who left the game and came back, or accidentally missed a week.It was my Birthday last Sunday...and Family and friends were taking me out the whole week. That and work cut my NS time down. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This has been your final mass restore. What number do u concider mass? I could just do 2 or 3 at a time.
I wonder if I am the only NS player who does this? or rather one who does it frequently. over 10 nations restored is rare for me really....I believe....correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah. Just let some puppets die, give them away, or put them up for trade/sale. You have plenty of options, Puppetmaster Tresville. :)

I had over sixty at one point. I gave some away and let some die. It sucked to lose some good puppets, but I couldn't keep up with them, so I let them go. I understand your reasons and your emotions. I'm just saying you can deal with this problem if you want.

Enough. We're going out of the "Tresville Revival" business. Either you log in to them every 60 days, or they die. This has been your final mass restore. I am wondering exactly what this means. What constitutes a MASS revival...how many puppets? Is this just a rule for me...or everyone (at the moment). Can I ask for puppets to be revived 1 by 1?
The MODS are obviously talking about this....but I haven't seen a post in any of the NS STickies about it....I'll be waiting patiently. I am unsure if they will contact me personally...or if i have to dig through this forum to find out the ruling on this matter.

Darlin', when the same folks every few weeks give us their lists of puppets that done died, and we rez 'em, and then two weeks later there's a bunch more, and so on, it does get tiresome and it also cuts into the time when we're gathering evidence on the griefers/dealing with all the other emergencies y'all rarely see.
Put 'em all in your dossier and make it a habit to check when you log in which ones need 'refreshing'.

Issue solved....I totally understand the burden they have when people ask for so many nations to be restored.
Just needed to clarify as I was unsure if i could revive nations at all...with that MOD decision i posted.
I apologize for causing ya any problems...keep up the good work..expect like 6seperate requests from me to revive nations (all 1 nation requests)....lol.
