I dont think any sane government would ever do that to the own nation, besiade the visural reproctuions the attack had strong economic affects too.

Ewww I do love the consipiracy theories!

Only problems I see:

1) The man who designed the towers said they designed it to withstand the planes of the time. They didn't envsion them to get so big.

2) Most of the fuel went boom. It wasn't sitting around in a slow burn.

3) I am not a bomb expert but I doubt planted charges would have remained when the planes hit.

4) It's easy to thwart security when you they aren't activily looking for you.

5) I am ex-goverment. I met what you would call spooks. Scary people that would not hessitate to kill scores of people. Many of these types would never support an administration that would kill that many people and cause that amount of financial damage to the nation.

Think about Pearl Harbor. Ships can be rebuilt and new soldiers trained. Attack a major financial center and the affects snowballs......

Ahhh well......

Even the most ardent shrub supportor would take up arms against him if it was shown his goverment masterminded this.

When were the towers built? Didn't they have proper planes then? I thought it was some time in the 1970s...

Otherwise, conspiracy theories. I doubt anyone in the US government would've been smart enough to come up with that all by themselves.
It did George W. a whole lot of good though.

At a very propitious moment. Yes.

If I'm not mistaken, the Labor Department is a Bureau of the US Government. The President doesn't pick the workers in the bureaus, nor can he fire them. This guy sounds like he's trying to start (or continue in some aspects) a conspiracy against Bush.

I could be wrong though.

There are massive amounts of evidence showing that 9/11 wasn't exactly what the Administration would like you to believe. And I think I'll start a whole new thread stating that...

HAH

Turns out I wasn't wrong after all. It's more widespread than we think.

It's funny, really. I thought I was pretty dark in my ruminations over 9/11, but this fellow's thoughts are darker than mine. Maybe we should have a thread to air 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Or, on second thought... maybe not. Besides, it's probably been done before, probably many times before. No bother. Hard to believe I cast the administration in a less-cynical light than in this article. And I thought my version of events was (the admin was more-or-less grossly negligent...grossly negligent to the point of willful disregard and depraved indifference, but I digress) was pretty bad.

He's also an economist, not an engineer, explosives expert or the like.

And the WTC was built with the idea that if a plane were to crash into them, it would be a Boeing 707 type plane, going at normal speed, but suffering from an accident. Not a 757, going quite above normal speed.

And there's massive amounts of evidence showing that ghosts exist, that aliens are floating around above our heads, that we never went to the moon and that the earth is flat.

Sorry to say, but I deeply disagree with you on this. I believe firmly that they would continue to support him as always.

I have see no evidence that suggests that any action at all would cause many of these supporters to waver in their dedication. They would just as soon turn against their own god(s).

I just don't see it happening. Moreover, "smoking gun" evidence would likely be supressed.

Oh, in a final note; this conspiracy theory looks to be utter tripe. I'm merely commenting on the fanatical devotion I've seen in the "core supporters" of the current administration.

Well I can say that ghosts do exist. As for everything else he said, he's joking.
