I was wondering what different left-wing factions we have represented on the boards?

Also, could somebody please take this time to try and explain to me just what is the difference between anarcho-communism and anarchism cause I just never can get it

Libertarian centralist (sorta)

I fall under:

Christian Socialists
Libertarian Socialists
Democratic Socialists

Though to some these may be contradictory but I assure you it is the closest match.

AFAIK, Anarchism is just the broad school of thought that encompasses all the various "anarcho-"s, Anarcho-Communism is just a subset of it.

Though I'm not too hot on this factionalism stuff :confused:, you should ask a better anarchist ;)

Cristian Anarcho-Commuist or Christian Socialist. Depends how depressed with humanity I feel.

Anarchism is lack of government. What comes after the 'anarcho' (communist, capitalist, syndicalist, etc.) are basically what will take its place, or something along those lines.

Garden-variety Liberal Democratic Capitalist. Capitalism is good when regulated, people should be able to do what they want in their private lives, you get the drill.

Libertarian Socialist.

Basically liberally social and fiscally conservative, although I believe in helping my fellow man/woman.

What about environmentalists? Where do they sit on the political spectrum?

anarcho-communism is a major branch of the anarchist movement (quite probably the largest, depending on how many of the syndicalists would also accept the term). it follows largely from the ideas of petr kropotkin and errico malatesta et al, who differed with the ideas of proudhon on certain points about the organization of post-revolutionary society.

That kind now runs about being all "go USA USA USA!!!" and calls all communists evil.

I'm a green social democrat if that makes sense.
And strangely enough, I think it would be good for a laugh if Germany changed the title of "President" back to Kaiser and we started to wear those pointy helmets again. :D
We could keep the chancellour and the whole deomcracy thing, i just want the helmets!
