Whether or not your topic is ruled to be spam depends, at least in part, upon a Moderator being able to answer the question "WTF?" So, it helps if you include some explanation of what you're talking about or provide a link (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=417445) to where it was discussed before.

Just something to keep in mind. :p Carry on.

Your Swarf money (money gained from the selling of off cut metal, as discussed in previous thread) should be spent on buying some new clothing. Or at least that's what I would do since I haven't bought any clothing in the last year.

Of course he didn't work harder. He just worked more intelligently and produced more swarf and less product.

After all the swarf is worth extra money in his pocket. :D

Save it for the year and then have a big bash at some suitable point (Christmas, Superbowl whatever)

I reccomend that your sworf money and any other money you happen upon should be kindly donated to the "give Dragon Cows money" fund

A sensible businessman would re-invest it in sworf production, thus increasing the yield.

Clearly you are going to have to streamline your sworf manufacturing core processes, if you ever hope to make a living producing this stuff. Maybe you should spend the money on a business consultant to help you figure it out.

That, or you can place a bet on england regaining the ashes. It's a long shot, but you'll probably get good odds.

Good theory.

I also noted that making a reject equals Bugger all money compared to making a good product so maybe if i strive for excellence some of this money from making no errs will pass down to me.

I vote Other:

The amount of swarf in the barrels is exactly the same, but the world market prices for different metals have changed and your swarf just got worth more :)

Swarf on, Harlesburg!

(Ever thought about re-investing some of the swarf money on "valuable" scrap metal you could turn into more swarf, thus producing more swarf to be sold and your share of swarf money rises even more? Like breeding rats to sell them for their hives when they were hunted down to battle the plague?)

Yeah weve still got a 2x2x1meter container 3/4 full of Steel and with Chinas consumption of the stuff prices have been going up so Aye!
Tis all good.

mind you Copper is where its at Copper is nice on the tools and tips and we get a decent amount of cash for that .

The scrap dealer was kind of happy last time we cashed some in.

And on a side note China makes the Shittest Stainless Steel it rusts?

Rusting stainless steel? And I thought it would take some time for even "normal" steel to start rusting - after all, it's not simply iron...

Well, good luck on making some extra cash:)
