Vampire:Bloodlines
Does anyone here have that game? I just ordered it on amazon, and I was wondering if it lets you drain mortals of their blood, like in Masquerade Redemption. Can you? Do any of you actually own a copy of bloodlines??

Bloodlines is the one where you play as the knight fellow, right? Or is that Redemption?
Whatever, if its the former I do and you can.
EDIT:
Although, I should point out that Morrowind can be a better Vampire 'simulation' than Bloodlines. Theres a mod out there called Vampires Embrace, that lets you enslave people and/or turn them into Vampires. I have to say, it pwns all.
Except that it also enhances Morrowinds instability, leading to lots of use of the 'quicksave' key.
Yeah, I have embrace. I took over Vivec with a force of many, many vampires.
You can do the scuking thing on Redemption, but I only have the demo of that :S

Yes, yes, and yes. Draining has a much more serious impact in Bloodlines though.

I've got Bloodlines. It runs on the HL2 engine, but the physics in Bloodlines are quite meh by comparison. Great story though, really good facial expressions on the characters, brilliant dialogue and of course the blood boil spell :) A word of caution though, the game itself needs quite a good comp to run it, and the loading times can be imense. :headbang:

I've heard that you need the patch right-away. Just don't count on there being another patch. Troika = dead. Also, Vampire Embrace for Morrowind never caused problems for me. Since you do have Morrowind, try 'The Underground' By Qarl. Great Vampire mod that never takes itself to seriously, but it definatly isn't for young kids.
