Even if you've never heard of the game, take it anyway. It's an interesting quiz all the same to see what kind of vampire you'd be.

Faustian manipulators, the Followers of Set further their shady agendas through puppetmastery and sinister "business deals". Precisely what their agenda is, few know. But their claims to roots in a being far older than Caine and or far greater power can provide only sinister hints. Their connection to the serpent of Set is infamous, and one said to be more than just metaphor, as is manifest in some of their more disturbing powers. But as creatures of the nether darkness, even strong artificial light unsettles them, and the purifying, piercing sun can tear their slithering bodies asunder in moments.

Perhaps the most alienated of all the clans, Clan Malkavian's mention makes the blood of most vampires run just a little colder. Some say the clan to be the keepers of secrets older and more terrible than any but they could imagine. This is reinforced by their thorough command of the powers of perception. They can see things few others can, from the physically unseen to the twisted depths of the subconcious mind right up to the wrinkles in fate that might be more than just chance. But obscuring, or some might say causing, all of this is the madness that runs in their cold veins, twisting the minds of all the clan's members to frayed wrecks of sanity. Or perhaps just thrusting them, thrashing and screaming, into a whole new level of horrible awareness.
Fine, I answered the questions in a way so as to be a Malkav, because batshit insane people are awesome.

Clan Gangrel
Wild and fiercely independant, Clan Gangrel is the home of the feral undead. Most Gangrel emulate the beasts of the wild, preferring to chase down their prey in the open country (in stark contrast to the city-dwelling proclivities of most vampires). Their avoidance of the vampires' ancestral foes, the werewolves, might be attributable to their impressive powers of shapeshifting. They cannot help but show some traces of their wild roots, however, as many Gangrel are marred with bizzarre, animalistic features.
...but I already knew that. ;)
Have taken that and similar quizzes before. Always come out Malkavian.
[edit: Vampire:Bloodlines also made me Malkavian with its little start-up quiz]

Clan Toreador
http://live.quizilla.com/user_images/V/Venatius/1059722976_toreador.JPG
The scintillating, complicated unlives of the Kindred of Clan Toreador are an incomprehensible mess of pleasure-seeking and subterfuge to many others of their kind. Most Toreador are creatures of passion and feeling, embracing art, literature, or even outright hedonism in search of something that truely gives unlife beauty and meaning. Many of them become great creators, with all eternity to hone their arts, but most of them learn to appreciate, even envy, the tragically fleeting works of the mortal masters. Cultivating some of the best (and sometimes worst) aspects of humanity, they wield powers of great social and physical grace. However, many fall prey to their own quest for beauty, their senses growing so easily ensnared as to make them easy marks for more "practical" Kindred.

I got Clan Ventrue... I don't know anything about this clan stuff, but what the hell! ;)
Self-titled shepherds and guardians, Clan Ventrue wears the crown of leadership with head bowed and hand on heart. Their blood intermingled with everything from kings and lords to presidents and corporate moguls, the cunning politics of this clan baffle outside (or "lesser") minds. Famously gallant and genteel, the grip of the clan reaches from world governments and business holdings down to individual souls held in bondage of blackmail or manipulation. The natural capacity for manuevering and manipulation is one for which members are normally selected, but this is always aided further by the unmathed, unnatural powers the clan wields over the hearts and minds of others. But with exquisite status come exquisite tastes, and a Ventrue must sometimes suffer for their refusal to drink any blood aside from the one sort he or she deems sweetest. This clan also holds the seat of leadership of the Camarilla, a vast vampiric sect devoted to hiding the species' existence from the eyes of humanity.

Giovanni. I was most surprised - I was sure I would be Tremere.
Pariahs, lepers, the unclean of the Kindred, Clan Nosferatu rules supreme over the wretched. Though they give those outside the clan pause, they are often levelheaded, thoughtful individuals who have learned to look past the superficial surfaces of people and things. Usually making their home in the sewers or other secluded places no others would venture, the monsterous Nosferatu are spies and informants extraordinaire, making a specialty of their neccessity-honed power to remain unseen. The neccessity comes into play with their uniform curse of inhuman ugliness, which perverts the visage of even the most fair into a blasphemous tribute to pestilence.

Descended (or some would say degenerated) from a long line of warriors and philosophers, Clan Brujah attracts the impassioned. From antigovernment punk rebels to tweed suited socialist intellectuals, this clan is loathe to embrace those who are not prepared to question authority and oppose the status quo. Their supernatural powers endow them with the ability to hit hard and fast, both physically and emotionally. But they bear with their passion an inevitable (and often regrettable) lack of self-control.
"The predators of predators, Clan Assamite will raise nervousness in even the most confident of vampires. Often working as mercenaries and assassins, this clan of the east derives much of their power, to the unnerving of most Kindred, through the consumption of their victim's blood and soul in the dreaded rite of Diablerie. Their potency as assassins is heightened by their powers of stealth, silence, and deadly poisoncraft. Though Clan Tremere tried to defang the deadly diablerists with a potent curse, the Assamites have recently cast off the arcane shackles, and reawakened with a renewed thirst for Kindred blood."
Well, I'm not sure what I said to warrant that.

Come on. What's one little contest to win a shiny, gold fiddle? Dismissed by most other clans as aimless drifters and annoying tricksters, Clan Ravnos recruits many of its members from gypsy stock and other wanderers. Disjointed, independant and free, Clan Ravnos' members are usually out making lives of their own on the road, through whatever tricks and cons they can manage. Aiding them in this are their handy powers of illusion and deception of the senses, very convenient against guillible mortals. This lifestyle catches up with the Ravnos more often than not, however, and many have paid for it in ultimately tragic addictions to their favorite vice.

Gee, whizz...
Caitiff:
"Some Kindred, either from ignorance of their linneage or dilution of clan traits due to thin blood, have no distinguishable clan to speak of. These Caitiff are often seen as little more than pawns by most factions, especially the Camarilla. Cannon fodder at best and hunted outcasts at worst, they keep to themselves or others of their kind for the most part, viewed by those of "purer" blood as clueless proles or weak-blooded, useless drones. Of course, at times, their independance from clan politics can prove significantly advantageous."

The quiz said Brujah, the modern Brujah, not the true Brujah who are nothing like their modern selves, which is strange because V:TM enthusiaists had categorised me as a Ventrue, the overlords of the undead, but I saw myself as a Kiasyd bloodline, maybe even more Lasombra. The enthusiaist who said Ventrue was Tsimizce.

What??? I used to be involved in V:TM, and learned the lore. The story runs like so. Caine, who was the first murderer was cursed with vampirism, he met lilith who became the mistress of the Werewolves, and founded Enoch, after splitting from Lilith and learning "blood magic". Caine embraced a select handful of vampires, and those embraced more, thirteen to be precise. The thirteen third generation vampires became the antedeluvians, the heads of the clans their names were:
Ventrue
Tzimisce
Brujah
Nosferatu
Toreador
Sollut
Malkav
Gangrel
Ravnos
Assam
Giovanni
Cappadocius
Lasombra
But, those 13 embraced many, and broke the rules set down by Caine, so He placed on each of them a special curse. Nosferatu was incredibly vain so Caine disfigured him, he took Lasombra's reflection, and gave Malkav prefect clarity, but cursed him that no one would believe him. And so forth Brujah, who cared for nothing, was without passion was made passionate to a fault., but not before some of the originals escaped Caine's curse by esacping his sight. The Kiasyd were the result of an experiment by the Lasombra mixing Vampire and Fae blood. Tremere, came from an order of Wizards and Alchemists who sought immortality. They achieved this by Kidnapping a Tzimisce Vampire, unfortunately they were not aware of the curses. Tremere thought he could gain acceptance within the vampire community by having an antedeluvian so he found the resting place of Sollut and drained the body in a dark ritual called Diablerie, but ended up with insane delusions and was later locked away.

An unnerving aberration even in the eyes of most vampires, Clan Tremere is a new arrival to the nocturnal world. As legend goes, this clan's founding members were a group of mortal magi who somehow unveiled the forbidden secrets of unlife, trading their true power for the immortal strength of the carnivorous dead. However, they still wield a soulless ghost of their past arcane power. It comes nowhere close to the strength of true magic, but it serves the Tremere well enough. Their key weakness lies also in their strength, which is the clan's rigid organizational structure. Once a member is it, getting out inevitably proves... challenging.
Makes sense. The first character I ever played, pen & paper or LARP, was a tremere.

you played Minds Eye theatre?? then you know the other weakness of Tremere, a little thing called a blood hunt, launched by Tzimisce and why the Tremere are callled blood sorcerers and the usurpers
I can't find V:TMR anywhere. Shame. I played the demo, and it looks so cool. But I can't find it. Not even on Kazaa. Which, err...I don't have.

Pfft, Camarilla..... Black Hand or Sabot would have been better to include the Sabbat clans as well as the Black Hand...
When I played, my character was Black Hand, member of the Clan True Brujah (not that bastard clan started by Troile, in the Camirilla clans)... Masters of Temporis (Time Control)...
The True Brujah claim to descend from Brujah him- self and not from Troile, who supposedly committed diablerie upon her Antediluvian sire. The True Brujah resent the claiming of their sire's name by Troile and her bastard lineage. They long for the night when they will reclaim their heritage from the false Brujah. Until that night, they must falsely claim lineage to other clans or simply call themselves Brujah.
Consequently, they rarely interact with each other or other vampires; instead, they spend much of their time gathering information and developing their powers. They continue to prepare for war against the false Brujah but, since they have been preparing this way for at least 5,000 years (and probably more), such a feat is unlikely.
Temporis--While Troile stole the blood of Brujah, she did not steal his most prized Discipline - Temporis. Now the True Brujah carefully guard Temporis, for those who understand the Discipline can manipulate time itself.
Level 1--Time Sense
The vampire can sense contractions and dilations in time. In addition, she can sense the use of Temporis or other time-altering powers. She also has an internal clock which keeps perfect track of time. This is particularly useful with the higher level powers of this Discipline, as it allows the vampire to know just what she is capable of doing with her powers, how long the effects will last, etc.
Level 2--Ramble On
The vampire has the power to cause a single subject to continuously repeat his own actions, without ever realizing he has been repeating himself. The subject gets so caught up that he pays no heed to events around him unless they are obvious and dangerous. For example, a subject may be walking along when the vampire uses this power on him. The subject may have been intending to go to the store, but gets so carried away that he finds he has been walking for an hour and is now far away from both his home and the store. If the subject had walked out in front of a car, he would have been less likely to notice it, but if he did, the trance-like effects would have been broken.
Level 3--Zombie's Curse
The vampire can cause one subject to perceive time as having sped up. The victim moves at half speed, and everything she says comes out slowly and in a deep pitch. The subject will have trouble communicating and even more trouble in combat. While bullets, once fired, move at normal speed, punches, kicks, sword, swings and other attacks that require personal speed in order to add kinetic force do only half their normal damage dice pool and have their difficulty to hit increased by two.
Level 4--Cowalker
The vampire can stop time for a moment, allowing her to appear in two places at once. The vampire appears to teleport or blink from one place to the next, but she is actually slipping out of the normal flow of time and space. The vampire cannot affect objects within the time stream, so the vampire could not attack someone while using this power. Instead she could move behind an opponent, hit him and then blink away again.
Level 5--Frozen Object
The vampire can stop time for an inanimate object for a predetermined length of time. The vampire could throw a knife into the air and stop time on it, only to later let it continue on its course. The vampire could freeze time on a light switch and then turn it on. When it recentered time, the light would come on. This power can be used on bullets and other projectile and missile weapons, but not on objects touching animate beings. In addition, objects lose no energy during the time stop, so anyone touching the bullet frozen in flight would burn her hand, and the slug would have the same velocity when it re-entered time.
To stop time for projectiles, the character must see and stop them before they reach their destination. Therefore, the vampire must make a Wits + Alertness roll (difficulty 6 to stop thrown weapons, difficulty 8 to stop a single bullet) before using the power
Level 6 - Control Aging
The vampire may age a target, or reverse the aging of a target. This effect can not be used on the same target more than once per scene. The age of the target changes by ten years per success (in either direction).
Level 7 - Domain of Evernight
The vampire can dilate time, with respect to a given area. One hour may be affected for each dot she has in Willpower.
Level 7 - Out of The Hourglass
The vampire can step out of time. Each success represents one turn that the vampire may spend out of the time stream. In this state, the vampire can move any objects manually. Any effects created by the vampire, including explosions, attacks, etc, can be created, but will only take effect once she has reentered the time stream.
Level 8 - Rewind
The vampire may turn back time, and rewrite her own actions. After the vampire has rewound time, she will be in the place where she initiated the effect, and all other things will be as they were in the time to which she rewound. She will know what happened before she rewound time, and she may act differently. Others will act in the exact same fashion as they did before, unless they are persuaded to behave differently.
Level 8 - Pocket Out of Time
The vampire may remove an entire area, with a radius of up to ten feet per success, from the time stream. Those inside this area see the outside area in stasis, and cannot leave for the entire duration of this effect. This effect can be ended at will, and ends if the vampire is destroyed.
Level 9 - Summon History
The vampire may try to bring a period of time to the present. She must focus on time; she may not name an event. Those inside this area can not interact with those in the present unless they have Time Sense. (Such interactions might prove hazardous.)
