I just felt like making this poll having just watched a kid's show with my little sister. You'll will probably only know these if you watch British TV. My personal favorite is Thomas the tank engine having watched thta when I was five

Yea, Thomas Rules forever, though at the moment I have found myself watching Bodger and Badger! "Everybody knows Badger loves Mash Potato!"

edit: No wonder, those must all be UK shows! But don't you have Sesame Street?

My niece has Thomas EVERYTHING! Thomas clothes, Thomas (and I mean all the other engines and cars) train set, with most the other trains, a train station, etc., Thomas pajamas, Thomas DVDs, Thomas books... and she talks about Thomas all the time. That's the only reason I know of it, but I like it better than the other options.

FYI: George Carlin does Thomas the Tank Engine's voice! :D

Hey, where's Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, Power Rangers, Somethin' Somethin' Pappy Land, Out of the Box, Craft's Creatures, Zoomoovoomafoo (sp?), Zoom, and Wishbone?

I guess some of those have been cancelled and stuff. Shame, shame, shame.

You didn't really specify that they had to be one's I watched when I was a kid. My list is just some of my favourite TV shows made for kids. Doesn't matter when I watched them. I could still happily watch any of the ones in my list, plus dozens others. And I still do :D
And it would be difficult for me to have watched Potatoes & Dragons when I was 6. Even when I was 16 it still hadn't been made.

The only thing on that poll that was even around when I was a kid was Thomas the Tank Engine. Of course, we knew it as Shining Time Station.
What fun, with little conducter people played by Ringo, and later the loveable George Carlin.

Bah! I deride your selection of 90's shows. In my day we had decent shows. The Raccoons (1985-1991) is the ultimate kids TV show, and none of this modern rubbish with dancing blobs can match it.

(Sorry about that. I just get irritated that so few people appreciated The Raccoons...)

"Luckily he has some good friends to help him out..." I think the song at the end of The Raccoons (Run With Us by Lisa Lougheed) was the best theme tune to any kids' TV show. Plus it was a top 10 single in Canada.
