Yup, my third race, and my first final A finish, and my first podium! I got incredibly, ridiculously lucky, but I`m not complaining! Yay! Thirty championship points are mine. :D

Contrary to what I just posted earlier-
Luck is one thing, capatilizing on it an getting the win is another. Skill, it is possible, is measured on how much you make of luck, bluring the line between the two.
Or, another way, there was more than one other car in that race, it had to be more than luck that it was you that won.
So congratulations! Soak it up, the first win is the best win. From now on you'll come to expect it, which makes getting it slightly less sweet (something echoed in the lackluster Dust to Glory, but I found it to ring true...)

Uuuh, expect it? I'd enjoy another Final A. I drew the best karts, I managed to keep my first place in my first heat, then I started fourth, was stuck behind someone the entire race, until another driver had an oil leak, he lost speed and the guy in front of me hit him. I managed to overtake both of them. Then in the final, I managed to start well admittedly, but there were good drivers behind me. Luckily there was a huge mess behind me with three drivers, by the time it was sorted out I was well ahead. I won by 15 seconds, which is just over half a lap :D

You've likely already heard this phrase-"Thats racing."
Tons of crazy crap happens, the winner is the one who managed it the best (like not hitting the slowing car yourself, or getting ahead of the mess that slowed everyone else down). Humility is good, but save that for next time when you have to focus on the task of winning your next race. For now, shower in champaigne(sp), drink the milk (I know thats a specific race, but what the hell...), pump your fist, save the excuses for when you almost finish first.
Like I said, next week you can come back to reality, so to speak...now it's the finest cheeses and women for all of your men!

WL, it seems I did yes :p
Cog, its the National League, held in five racetracks. Kart-In Ashdod, Pro-Karting Rechovot, Mega-Karting Petach Tikva, Go-Karting Netanya and Green Kart Haifa. This race was held in Green Kart, my home track. Its organized by various people, including the heads of Rechovot and Petach Tikva, an independent person who used to pass driving courses, and two judges.
