You didn't include Fantasy? What are "Lord of the Rings" fans like myself supposed to put, other?

Scifi AND Horror are my favorites.

Thusly, you are penalized 3.9 internets for completely forgetting "Horror" in the poll.

*and with that said... I sleep*

The name's Bullet. Tracer Bullet. What people call me is another matter entirely. I was planning to spend the night with a few old friends, one travels in a hipflask, the other in a holster, but the dame was insistent. In this business, most dames are.

Pulp Fiction of course!

I enjoy a lot of sci fi, but at the same time a lot of fantasy. I've read historical fictions too, so I would say other. Other, in this situation would be, a good book, held with just the right facts and plausablity tossed in with action, drama, love, hate, comedy, and fantasy.

That's a really short list... no Fantasy, for poetry, no special interest (women's literature, ethnic writers, foreign languages....), no biographies, no children's books, no comics...

I like to read everything apart from thrillers or detective stories, but I tend to read more Fantasy than any other genre.

Probably fantasy. I like sci-fi, horror, and realistic fiction too, but fantasy probably comes out on top.

I would have voted fantasy, but as it wasn't an option, I picked sci-fi.

I go through stages - and for several months now, I've been in a more or less general fiction stage. I mean, really, how do you classify books like "Life of Pi" or "The Secret Life of Bees" or "Clan of the Cave Bear"? I also love all of Dan Brown's books, especially "The DaVinci Code," as well as the Harry Potter stories. Michael Crichton and Tess Gerritsen are also among my favorite authors.

I read all non-fiction and have for years. I need to get back to some fiction. I get interested in a subject and then I read loads of books on it. I just don't have much interest in fiction. The last fiction book I read was probably 15 yrs ago.

Ooh, do you ever read Amanda Quick's stories? I think she's great! I like Anne Perry, too, but personally I prefer Amanda Quick.
