What are your opinions on Mumia Abu-Jamal? Should he be freed?

If you don't know who he is, click Here (http://www.freemumia.org). Unfortunately, I couldn't find any non-biased sites about him, but this should do.

I say he's guilty because a court says so. Until different evidence is uncovered, that's good enough for me.

My opinion that he should not be executed is because of the possibility that such evidence may eventually be uncovered. Also, because I believe people should be sentenced to death row only because that way, they will die in jail rather than free.

The average life sentence lasts about seven years (releases on parole, "good behavior," etc.). I support death sentences only because that way, the convicted will actually stay in jail, like he or she is supposed to.

I picked "other." I don't believe that he's guilty, and I do believe that the trial that he had was an atrocity. But instead of freeing him, he should be retried, and this time without fabricated evidence. I suspect that the facts would show he's not guilty, and that he would be freed.

From what Ive read, I cant say as to his guilt or innocence, but at the very least, his trial was a sham.
